Our Story
Handi Masala is a new Indian takeaway open in Rosyth. We aim to satisfy the taste buds of Indian food lovers in the local area.
This dream come true-venture is a result of more than 26 years of experiments and experience from the chef duo, Mr. Rajendra Singh Negi & Mr. Gajendra Singh Rawat. Both originate from the valleys of Uttarakhand, India.
Our restaurant is more than simply a place to eat; it’s a dream come true—a dream of bringing individuals and families together through the magic of our flavorful dishes. Food and cooking are everything to us, we cook because it brings us joy. We believe the power of food connects people and brings families together, this was fundamental in our upbringing within our Indian families. We have always had a dream of working somewhere that brings authenticity and modernization together in a harmonizing way.

Each dish on our menu is crafted with love and care, using the finest ingredients and traditional Indian recipes that have been passed down through generations. Every bite at Handi Masala is a journey through the diverse culinary landscape of India. Our love of Indian food has led us on an exciting journey of discovery and understanding at Handi Masala. We searched out various new experiences before embarking on our own takeaway, immersing ourselves in a wide spectrum of Indian culinary traditions. Separately, we traveled around the food hubs of India, Delhi, Mumbai, and Punjab
After we developed our understanding of food and the local people, we were finally ready to start our dream venture. This brings us to where we are today. Our aim is to serve our customers every day a full pot of flavors and give them a new world of taste, rather than just a regular curry. Handi Masala literally means a pot of spices. For us, cooking is about families, friends, people bonding, and laughing over a delicious meal. This is how our love of cooking came to life and we are now honored to do this for a living.
